In designing a logo for The Switch / Yaskawa Environmental Energy marine applications, the core challenge was to differentiate a product range while maintaining familiarity in the traditional marine industry.
Together with The Switch / Yaskawa Environmental Energy and Poseidon, the well-known Greek god of the seas, we harnessed the power of the waters and designed an eye-catching emblem that evokes strength, control, and natural forces.
It was essential for the logo to grab attention in both large and small formats and to blend in with both, The Switch and Yaskawa visual materials. To add a more personal feel, Poseidon is depicted from the front and surging out of the frame.
The response to the range of marine products and logo has been overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors to Nor-Shipping 2019 taking selfies in front of Poseidon.
